Scott C. Smith is a highly experienced corporate, real estate, and tax lawyer with over three decades of experience. Scott’s experience includes private practice, including working as general counsel for clients, as well as substantial in-house experience. He has structured and closed hundreds of equity, debt, M&A, venture capital, private equity, and real estate transactions ranging from millions to billions of dollars in size. Scott has deep experience in structuring and counseling real estate partnerships and joint ventures in all aspects of their operations, from formation to sale and liquidation. In addition to a Juris Doctor Scott holds Master of Laws in taxation and a Master of Arts in International Political Economy.
