Mr. Muzzy has been practicing law for 23 years, the last 20 at Lubin Olson. During his career, he has worked on nearly every conceivable type of real estate transaction through three economic cycles. He has represented investors, owners, landlords, tenants, lenders, developers, and operators in all real estate product types, including single-asset, portfolio, and entity acquisitions and sales; troubled real estate loans and developments; and private lenders, hotels, mortgage funds, and institutional lenders.

Prior to joining Lubin Olson, Mr. Muzzy practiced at a boutique firm in San Francisco where he represented family offices and closely-held businesses in tax and real estate.

In a more adventurous earlier part of his career, Mr. Muzzy was a ski patroller (EMT) at a major resort in Colorado and a field researcher on marine science teams tagging and tracking great white sharks off the coast of California and surveying Pacific grey whales for the National Marine Fisheries Service.

Mr. Muzzy is a native Californian. In his spare time, you can find him involved in athletics, working out, exploring the remote backcountry, surfing, fishing, cooking or trying to play music.
