Laura L. Lutz is an associate in Lubin Olson’s Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, and Creditor’s Rights, Receiverships, & Insolvency service groups, with an emphasis on commercial, real property, and financial institutions litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts. Ms. Lutz’s litigation experience includes wrongful foreclosure defense, title insurance disputes (representing both title companies and their insureds), and commercial disputes. She is well versed in enforcing creditors’ rights, including seeking prejudgment remedies and receiverships.

Ms. Lutz earned her juris doctor from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, where she graduated magna cum laude. During her time in law school, Ms. Lutz was a senior production editor for the Hastings Law Journal. Ms. Lutz earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.

Ms. Lutz is a current member of the Marin County Bar Association, the San Francisco Bar Association, the California Receivers Forum, and California Women Lawyers. Additionally, Ms. Lutz has been honored by Thomson Reuters as a Northern California Super Lawyer® “Rising Star” for 2024, 2025, and 2026.

Prior to joining Lubin Olson, Ms. Lutz practiced real estate litigation at Steyer Lowenthal Boodrookas Alvarez & Smith LLP in San Francisco.
