Maggie Cardasis is an associate in Lubin Olson’s Commercial Litigation group.  Ms. Cardasis’s practice focuses on complex litigation and high-stakes disputes.  She has extensive experience defending individual and class actions brought under a variety of consumer protection and data privacy statutes, as well as managing breach of contract and fraud matters.  She has obtained favorable rulings for her clients in district courts in California, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, and Colorado, as well as in California Superior Court.

Ms. Cardasis is well versed in all stages of civil litigation, including motion practice, depositions, and pre- and post-trial briefing.  Her trial experience includes delivering opening statements, examining clients, and cross-examining opposing parties, experts, and percipient witnesses.

Ms. Cardasis maintains a robust pro bono practice, recently representing a local non-profit serving low-income families in San Francisco through a ten-day arbitration hearing.  She also serves as the Vice-Chair of the Litigation and Arbitration Subcommittee to the ABA’s Consumer Financial Services Committee.  Ms. Cardasis has also collaborated with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to host trainings on avoiding elder financial fraud at senior centers.
